Slice_and_dice

Slice and dice, a little salt here,
a little pepper there, using my imagination, creativity and style to create something new. Creating new thing bringing everyone together as a big family putting a smile on there faces is what I want to do. To do this job you can’t just do anything you have to feel the vibe and sense the style of cooking and baking.

Being a chef is what I do. I love how the chefs I watch on television (food network) like Bobby Flay, Emeril Lagasse, one of my best cooks experiment with new thing out of there range and make fabulous dishes that not only look good but taste well also.  I always wanted to be a chef for a while but later on flipping through channels I saw this chocolate pastry competition and I fell in love with it ever since.

This goes way back to I guess when I was 7 years old. Everybody around me knew me well, they all knew when I get older m play football and be famous but little did they know I also wanted to cook. I remembered the teacher asking every one what they wanted to go when the grow up, so when it was my turn to speak everybody said football which was true but I said I want to be a chef too, everyone gasped for air. But then said cool maybe you will cook for me soon. I use to always want to help in the kitchen especially when my grandma was making cake or something.

As I got older I watched every move of all the chefs and learned little things I didn’t know before. I would imitate what the make or do, take notes or just when my mother goes and cook I’ll just take over and try new ingredients and see if they like it which the outcome is always a yes.

When being a pastry chef you have to have creativity, culinary ability, attention to details, customer service, and stamina. Small changes in a recipe can make a big difference. So pastry chefs
need to pay attention to what they're doing, even while performing
routine tasks. that’s where all the artist in you comes out you have you use a skill that know body can teach
you and that’s your imagination. You have to create the crazies, coolest piece every it has to be so god that people second guess themselves, asking is that a cake or is that really candy. That’s how you know you have done a great job when you wow them.

How you find cooking in me

The reason why I relish The art of cooking is because you can express your emotions in what you make. Also that is what I love. Also the pastry part of thing because I have a BIG sweet tooth.
